Kevin Bremer, Graduate
Bachelor of Arts in International Relations

Kevin BremerAfter 22 years in the U.S. Army, retired SFC Kevin Bremer is now Deputy Director for International Fellows Program at U.S. Army War College. While on active duty, Kevin served half his career in the Military Police Corps and was later assigned to the Defense Intelligence Agency’s attaché service, serving in Nepal, Nicaragua, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Korea, and Germany. While serving in the Secretary of the Army Legislative Liaison Office, Kevin visited an additional 35 other countries, giving him the desire to pursue a B.A. in International Relations.

Kevin came to AMU with a head start on his bachelor’s program; he had earned an associate degree while on active duty. Kevin worked with AMU to transfer those credits — and more from other Army schools. As a veteran, Kevin especially appreciates that many of AMU’s professors are also vets — and AMU’s experience in working with those who have served — or are serving. He says his family has always been supportive of his studies and he can now tell his daughter, “See, at almost 50, if I can do it, so can you.”
