Getting Started Never been on iTunes? No worries. Set up is easy. In no time you’ll be ready to play, download and share AMU-related content with others in your network. - To get started, visit www.apple.com/itunes and download the iTunes application for either Macintosh or Windows.
- Double click on the downloadable installer file and follow the instructions provided.
- Restart your computer then go to www.amuonline.com/itunes.
If you already have the iTunes application downloaded, simply go to www.amuonline.com/itunes and click on "Open iTunes U." The iTunes application will launch. Finding Content
When searching for content, you can either browse through the featured categories by section from the home page, or you can perform a keyword search using the field in the upper right corner of the iTunes window.
Take note that AMU's content is currently not searchable from the iTunes U main page found in the iTunes Store or from the Power Search page. You can only perform a search for AMU-related content directly from the search field on AMU’s iTunes U page.
The search tool will only return results that includes the exact phrase you typed. The tool scans the fields (e.g. Name, Artist, Album) by exact word only. As a result, you may have to try several different keywords to find all the files related to the topic you wish to search. |
