Gabrielle Newsam, Graduate
Bachelor of Science in Sports and Health Sciences
Gabrielle Newsam went back to school to further her knowledge of sports medicine, with hopes of eventually obtaining a job in the field. The ease of navigation in the classroom, the flexible format of eight and 16 week classes, and the well-rounded sports and health science curriculum put the University at the top of Gabrielle’s list.
Having now achieved a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Health Sciences, Gabrielle works as a physician in a weight loss clinic, teaches CPR, and volunteers as a physician with the Special Olympics during sporting events. Gabrielle feels that her degree at the University has helped her become a better clinician as well as given her a better understanding of the sports industry as a whole.
